Saturday shindig combines autumn festival with awards for service to city

In addition to Saturday’s Citizen Involvement Day awards ceremony, which honors the “Citizen of the Year” and “Youth of the Year” among others, the event will include scarecrow making on the Customs House lawn and window painting on downtown storefronts.
Downtown shops will offer special sales throughout the day.

— 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Live music by “The Rain Men,” featuring award-winning Brunswick songwriter and guitarist Jud Caswell and percussionist Rob Duquette. The performance will take place at Waterfront Park.
